This early-stage FinTech is building the intelligence layer for payments — technology that investigates transactions in real-time before they clear, helping banks stop scams before money leaves an account.
They’re now hiring their first DevOps Engineer to build the reliability foundations of the platform.

🧱 The Role: Founding DevOps Engineer
This isn’t a “keep the lights on” role. You’ll design and build the reliability, observability and infrastructure foundations that allow a fast-moving engineering team to ship safely.
You’ll:
- Own production reliability, monitoring, alerting, incident response and post-incident learning
- Build and evolve the Infrastructure as Code (Terraform on GCP)
- Implement observability across the stack: metrics, logs, traces, dashboards
- Improve deployment pipelines and release processes
- Design secure-by-default infrastructure
- Shape the company’s incident response culture and processes
- Introduce tooling to monitor AI-native systems and non-deterministic agents
- You’ll be defining what “good” reliability looks like from day one.

👀 What They’re Looking For
- 4+ years in DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineering
- Strong Terraform & Infrastructure-as-Code experience
- Experience running production distributed systems
- Built monitoring, alerting and observability in real environments
- Comfortable running incident response and post-mortems
- Strong understanding of security fundamentals
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines
Bonus points for:
- Early-stage startup experience (especially as the first DevOps/SRE hire)
- GCP experience
- FinTech or other regulated environments
