Founding Mobile Engineer - React Native / Consumer Fintech - London (3–4 days onsite) £90-120k + equity - greenfield

We're working with an early-stage consumer fintech building a new kind of personal finance product; one that focuses on clarity, habits, and long-term financial health rather than budgeting or trading.

They're now hiring a Founding Mobile Engineer to build their app from scratch.

What You'll Do

  • Own the React Native mobile app end-to-end: architecture, development, testing, and App Store delivery
  • Build data-rich, insight-driven mobile experiences with strong visualisation and UX
  • Work closely with the backend team on data modelling, analytics, and API design
  • Translate high-fidelity designs into a polished, high-quality consumer product
  • Take responsibility for the full mobile lifecycle, including releases and operational considerations
  • Help shape early technical and product decisions in a small founding team

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience building consumer mobile apps, ideally React Native
  • Enjoy working as a founding engineer and having the opportunity to contribute outside of mobile
  • Experience building products with habit-forming, community, or repeated-engagement mechanics is beneficial
  • Startup mindset: proactive, pragmatic, and happy owning ambiguous problems and any 0-> 1 experience is super-helpful
