Senior Back End Engineer

I have partnered with an innovative Scale-Up company that are on a mission to revolutionise the safety and efficiency of field teams!

They have disrupted the construction/engineering industry, using the power of AI. Their B2B platform empowers teams to make data-driven decisions in real-time, leading to greater safety, efficiency and quality assurance 🛠

• £12million in Series A in late 2023, they are planning Series B this year / early 2026!

They are now looking to add Senior Backend Engineer who has experience building out ML pipelines, especially with LLM's and Agents!

The role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be pivotal in developing and scaling the

backend systems. You will work alongside a cross-functional team of backend

engineers, product managers and data scientists to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable

solutions that meet the needs of their customers.

Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the Director of Engineering, you will be working with the following technologies -

• Containerised backed service built on top of Django/Python and Django REST Framework
• AWS services (they use Terraform for infrastructure as code)
• Server-less framework for our pub/sub processing engine used for asynchronous tasks
• Experience building out ML pipelines especially with LLM's and agents.

Tech stack: Python, Django, AWS, Terraform, PostgreSQL.

💰 Salary: £90,000 - £120,000 + 20% Bonus

UK Remote

You will need

• 3+ years commercial experience developing with Python, Django and Django REST framework.
• At least 1-2 years working with AI, ML and models
• Good understanding of cloud-based architectures and best practices
• Proven experience of taking ownership of products and seeing them through to delivery.
• Good knowledge of cloud architecture and best practices.
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
