AI Solution Architect

We are looking to add to the team at Fidra Analytics due to growth.

We have an opening for the role of an 'AI Solution Architect' - this is for someone with a passion for designing AI solutions and will involve customer facing consulting, project delivery and team leadership. If that sounds like you then read on.

Key details - largely remote but we get together regularly in our London office. Will be a perm role and salary will be dependent on experience. Stock option programme will be launched in 2026.

Key role elements:

Solution Design & Architecture

• Design end-to-end AI and data solutions, from data ingestion to model deployment and integration.
• Define architecture blueprints covering data pipelines, model lifecycle, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
• Select appropriate AI/ML technologies, frameworks, and platforms 
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-effective while meeting client requirements.
• Balance use of off-the-shelf AI services with custom model development, depending on client needs and budget.

Project Delivery & Technical Leadership

• Act as technical lead across multiple client projects, ensuring delivery quality and consistency.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable work packages for engineers.
• Conduct code reviews, architecture reviews, and technical validations.
• Oversee proofs of concept (PoCs) through to production-grade deployments.
• Take ownership of technical documentation, testing standards, and deployment procedures.

Client Engagement & Consultancy

• Engage directly with clients to understand problems, define opportunities, and shape AI strategy.
• Present technical concepts in clear, business-friendly language to non-technical stakeholders.
• Advise clients on AI feasibility, data readiness, and implementation pathways.
• Support pre-sales activities by scoping solutions, estimating effort, and contributing to proposals.
• Build long-term trust by being a credible technical advisor and point of contact for clients.

Team Development & Collaboration

• Provide technical mentorship to engineers and data scientists within the team.
• Foster a culture of learning, experimentation, and code quality.
• Collaborate closely with others to ensure cohesive delivery.
• Share knowledge on emerging AI tools, frameworks, and best practices across the consultancy.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Stay up-to-date on AI trends, including LLMs, vector databases, RAG frameworks, and multimodal models.
• Continuously improve delivery processes, documentation standards, and development workflows.

Operational & Commercial Awareness

• Contribute to project scoping, estimation, and resourcing decisions.
• Identify and flag technical risks, dependencies, or delivery constraints early.
• Ensure work is delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client SLAs.
• Support sales with technical content, case studies, and demonstrations.
