Your Role:
You will collaborate with our Software & Data teams on inhouse platform’s software development and BI projects. You will serve as the first point of contact for IT queries in our London office. You will help in resolving everyday technical issues, provision and maintain IT equipment, and automate routine tasks. The role reports to the Head of IT.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform & BI Development:
- Improve internal workflows with automations in Excel VBA or Python.
- Assist with development tasks on our lending platform (Python/Django) and data pipelines.
- Support ad-hoc reporting and dashboard projects (SQL, Tableau).
User Support & Operations:
- Log, triage and resolve tickets for Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Configure and deploy equipment; manage user identities and access in Azure AD.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues, escalating when required.
- Maintain an accurate hardware inventory and ensure all devices are patched and secure.
- Create concise knowledge base articles to support efficient issue resolution.
About You:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Technical fundamentals:
- Advanced Excel, including VBA macros.
- Python.
- Desirable extras: Git, macOS, Intune, SQL, Tableau/Power BI, Django or other web/OOP frameworks; Cisco CCNA certification.
- Clear communicator, can-do attitude, eager to learn.
- Work status: Already eligible to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available for junior roles).
