Job Opportunity: Product Control - Treasury - London (Hybrid)

£60,000 – £80,000 DOE + Benefits + Share Options

We've partnered with a Challenger Bank on an exciting new Product Control opportunity as they scale up across the UK and Europe and their Treasury function becomes increasingly dynamic. From executing derivative transactions to expanding investment activity, you’ll play a key role in helping scale in a controlled and intelligent way.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a qualified or nearly qualified accountant with Treasury product control experience to shape the financial controls of a fast-paced digital bank.

What You’ll Do

• Own the daily control processes for Treasury products — including trade confirmations, valuation controls, P&L reporting, and collateral management.
• Support a fast and accurate month-end close process, including hedge accounting and derivative reporting.
• Work closely with the Treasury team on all market execution activities and help implement best-practice, scalable controls.
• Partner with engineering and data teams to automate reporting, freeing you up for high-value analysis.
• Contribute to the implementation of a new accounting system from a Treasury perspective.
• Learn and apply SQL to create reports and identify process improvements.
• Help assess and onboard new Treasury products into our banking and accounting systems.
• Collaborate with 2LoD and 3LoD to strengthen our control environment.
• Work cross-functionally to support audits, forecasting, valuations, and wider Finance initiatives.

What You'll Need

• You’re a qualified or soon-to-be-qualified accountant with 1–2 years of product control experience (Treasury a plus).
• You have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and an interest in financial controls.
• You’re a self-starter, ready to roll up your sleeves in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
• You’re comfortable simplifying complex topics for stakeholders at all levels.
• Bonus points if you have SQL experience or a passion for automation!
