Position: Data Engineer – Azure Focused

Location: West London – 3 days in office / 2 days from home

Salary: Up to £70,000 + bonus

A long-standing partner of FinTop Consulting is hiring for a Mid-Level Azure-focused Data Engineer.

• You will be joining a lean data team, which will allow you to get stuck in, present new ideas as well as have the autonomy to do what you love doing!
• This position is heavy on the coding side due to the nature of the work, but it does come with its perks, for example; learning new AI & ML tools, as well as being part of the team integrating new analytical platforms.
• Reporting to the Lead Engineer, you will be looking at existing code, finding those pain points, figuring out what it’s doing to then optimize and execute.

MUST HAVE SKILLS: NON-NEGOTIABLES

• 5+ years in Data Engineering
• Experience in Azure Synapse & Azure DL
• Development in Python and maintenance of ETL Processes
• Interesting in analytical platforms such as Microsoft Fabric.

INTERVIEW PROCESS

• 1 st stage – 30 minutes – Teams call – Technical dive with the Lead Engineer
• Final stage – 90 minutes – F2F – Meet the team and Lead Engineer. Understanding the role, some tech conversations with a final discussion with the Technical Director to align expectations.
