Sales Development Representative

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Sales Development Representative at FinancialReports. The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and social outreach. Daily tasks include researching target accounts, building prospect lists, conducting discovery conversations, and scheduling meetings or product demos for the sales team. The role involves maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, following up on inbound leads, and collaborating closely with sales and marketing to refine messaging and improve lead quality. The Sales Development Representative will also monitor industry trends, provide feedback on prospect needs, and contribute to continuous improvement of outreach processes.
Qualifications
  • Strong Inside Sales and Lead Generation skills, with experience managing outbound and inbound prospecting activities.
  • Demonstrated Sales and Business Development skills, including the ability to qualify opportunities and support pipeline growth.
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and build rapport with prospects.
  • Proficiency with CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and basic data analysis skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, prioritize tasks, and meet or exceed performance targets.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Comfort with learning FinancialReports’ products and industry concepts; prior experience in financial services or SaaS is a plus.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
