Corporate Strategy Director
Finastra is looking to appoint a Corporate Strategy Director to strengthen execution capacity within its Strategy & ESG function at a critical point of transformation and growth.
This role is deliberately designed as a hands‐on individual‐contributor position. While titled Director, the focus is on doing the work: shaping strategy, leading analysis, and producing high‐quality, senior‐ready outputs that directly influence executive decisions.

What you will do
- Own and deliver end‐to‐end corporate strategy and ESG initiatives, from problem framing through to final recommendations
- Lead rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform senior leadership decisions
- Create clear, concise, executive‐level presentations, reports, and strategic materials
- Translate complex issues into practical, decision‐oriented insights
- Work closely with technology, product, and data teams to ensure strategies are grounded and implementable
- Manage delivery milestones, dependencies, and risks across multiple parallel workstreams
- Support executive discussions, strategy workshops, and in‐person meetings
What we are looking for
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex strategy work in fast‐paced, high‐expectation environments
- Background in a top‐tier strategy consulting firm (e.g. McKinsey, BCG, Bain) or an equivalent high‐bar strategy environment
- Strong analytical capability and structured problem‐solving approach
- Proven ability to personally produce senior‐quality outputs, including slide decks and written analyses
- Comfort operating as a senior individual contributor, without reliance on people‐management authority
- Credible presence with senior stakeholders and confidence operating in high‐stakes settings
- A reputation for reliability, delivery focus, and sound judgement
Desirable experience
- Exposure to financial services, fintech, or enterprise software organisations
- Involvement in ESG, sustainability, or impact‐related initiatives
- Experience partnering effectively with engineers, data teams, or product organisations
Practical information
- Hybrid working model: two days per week in the London office.
