Strategic Net New Sales Executive, Payments

What will you contribute?
As a Strategic Sales Executive, you will be a key driver of net new business growth for our Large Enterprise Payments solutions across continental Europe. Reporting to the Senior Director, Enterprise Sales – Europe, your primary mission is to identify, engage, and close new logos within Tier 1 and Tier 2 financial institutions. This is a pure hunter role—you will focus exclusively on acquiring new clients and expanding our footprint in untapped markets.
You will leverage your deep understanding of financial technology and consultative selling skills to position our solutions as the preferred choice for payments modernization and digital transformation. Success in this role requires relentless prospecting, strategic engagement at the C-suite level, and the ability to navigate complex enterprise sales cycles.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
New Business Acquisition
  • Drive net new revenue by targeting and securing new enterprise clients across Europe.
  • Develop and execute prospecting strategies to build a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Lead the full sales cycle—from initial outreach and discovery to proposal, negotiation, and close.
Strategic Market Penetration
  • Identify high-potential markets and accounts aligned with regional growth objectives.
  • Position our solutions as a strategic enabler for payments modernization and real-time payments initiatives.
  • Provide market feedback to influence product roadmap and competitive positioning.
Executive-Level Engagement
  • Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
  • Represent the company at industry events and forums to establish thought leadership and generate leads.
Sales Excellence
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management in CRM systems.
  • Ensure compliance with governance standards during contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored proposals and seamless onboarding for new clients.
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • 8+ years of enterprise sales experience in financial technology, with a strong focus on new business acquisition.
  • Proven track record of hunting and closing new logos with multi-million-dollar deal values.
  • Deep understanding of European financial services and payments ecosystem.
  • Ability to engage and influence C-suite executives in complex sales environments.
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, and strategic selling skills.
  • Experience collaborating with product and marketing teams to craft compelling value propositions.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Europe.
