The Opportunity
Finatal is partnering with a high-growth, private equity-backed SaaS business seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to join a lean, high-impact finance team. Reporting directly to the Head of FP&A, this role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and ownership across forecasting, modelling, and commercial insight.
Acting as a true business partner to executives, you will play a key role in shaping financial strategy, driving performance, and supporting decision-making in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This position also offers line management responsibility and the opportunity to deputise for the Head of FP&A.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior stakeholders, providing insightful analysis to support strategic decisions
- Own monthly FP&A reporting for Exec and Board, delivering clear, high-quality insight
- Lead development and maintenance of complex financial models (costs, scenarios, long-range plans)
- Take full ownership of end-to-end cost forecasting and budgeting processes
- Drive performance tracking, identifying risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations
- Collaborate cross-functionally, including with procurement, to unlock cost efficiencies
- Manage and develop an FP&A team member, elevating team capability and output
- Support strategic initiatives through detailed modelling and financial analysis
- Improve FP&A processes, reporting quality, and forecasting accuracy
Candidate Profile
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA)
- Proven FP&A experience with ownership of forecasting and financial modelling
- Strong business partnering experience with senior stakeholders
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
- Experience in SaaS or technology environments advantageous
- Exposure to Power BI or similar visualisation tools beneficial
- Strong communicator, able to present to executive audiences
- Demonstrated leadership or readiness to step into a management role
