Location: Remote
Contract: 3-6 months (initial)
Rate: £450 - £500 per day (Outside IR35)

About the Role
Our client, a leading UK banking organisation, is embarking on a major transformation to implement a new enterprise-wide payments platform. We are seeking an experienced Payments Business Analyst to play a key role in defining business requirements and supporting delivery across this critical programme.

You will act as the bridge between business and technology teams, capturing requirements, shaping end to end payment journeys and helping ensure the new platform will support all payment types across the bank.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document detailed business requirements for a new payments platform
• Work with cross functional teams including Product, Payments Operations, Technology and SMEs
• Support the design and mapping of end to end payment flows and business processes
• Facilitate workshops (some onsite attendance required) to validate requirements and solution design
• Ensure that all requirements align with regulatory, operational and business needs
• Contribute to UAT planning, readiness and support activities
• Provide subject matter expertise across payments and financial services

Required Experience

• Proven background as a Business Analyst within Payments
• Experience delivering similar payments transformation or platform projects within Financial Services
• Strong understanding of payments schemes, processes and industry standards such as Faster Payments, BACS, CHAPS and SWIFT
• Ability to produce high quality requirements documentation, process maps and functional specifications
• Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
• Comfortable working in fast paced, large scale change environments
