My client is seeking a Sales Director to lead and scale its Data Centre infrastructure business across the UK. This is a senior commercial leadership role for someone who is deeply embedded in the hyperscale and multi-tenant data centre ecosystem, not just someone who sells into it, but someone who truly understands how these environments are designed, built, and operated.

You will own the UK commercial strategy, build and deepen relationships with the operators, consultants, and integrators shaping the country's digital infrastructure, and position them as the connectivity partner of choice for AI-driven, cloud-ready data centre environments.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Defining and executing the sales strategy for Data Centre fibre optic and connectivity portfolio across the UK
  • Building and owning relationships at C-suite and VP level with hyperscale operators, MTDC providers, enterprise data centre owners, and major consultancies
  • Leading complex, high-value commercial pursuits from pipeline development through to close
  • Expanding wallet share within existing strategic accounts while aggressively securing new logos
  • Acting as the face of the business at key industry events, conferences, and within professional communities across the UK and Europe
  • Driving accurate pipeline management and forecasting through Dynamics 365
  • Collaborating closely with regional sales leadership, system engineering, and global Data Centre teams to deliver integrated solutions

Who You Are

  • A senior sales leader with 10+ years in data centre infrastructure, ICT, or connectivity sales, ideally with a track record at director level or above
  • Deeply connected in the UK hyperscale and MTDC ecosystem, you know the operators, the consultants, the integrators, and the decision-makers by name
  • Proven at winning and growing large, complex accounts, not transactional sales, but strategic, long-cycle commercial partnerships
  • You bring commercial credibility and technical fluency, able to hold your own in conversations about fibre infrastructure, structured cabling, and high-density connectivity solutions
  • A natural relationship builder who is equally comfortable in a boardroom as on a data centre floor
