Overview:
 A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Control Systems Consulting Engineer to join their growing UK Power team. This role involves delivering technically challenging projects across power generation, energy conversion, and transmission/distribution control systems, with opportunities across the UK and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead, manage, and contribute to projects involving control systems for power generation, energy conversion, and transmission/distribution networks.
 -  
Develop conceptual design studies, cost-benefit analyses, and technical specifications.
 -  
Act as Owner s Engineer and provide technical advisory/due diligence support.
 -  
Support tendering, bids, and proposals with technical input.
 -  
Participate in FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities on site.
 -  
Mentor and support junior engineers.
 -  
Adapt to deliver additional technical capabilities as required.
 
Skills & Experience:
-  
Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (BSc/BEng minimum).
 -  
Broad understanding of the UK electricity system and stakeholders.
 -  
Experience in design, specification, and delivery of control systems for power networks.
 -  
Experience with battery storage systems is desirable.
 -  
Experience in FAT, SAT, or commissioning advantageous.
 -  
Consulting experience is desirable.
 -  
Ability to lead or coordinate project delivery.
