My client is the rapidly growing European subsidiary of a global Film company who specialise in lighting, rigging, generators, etc. They also own film studies as well as facilitate studios for other organisations. They seek a reliable, self-motivated individual to work as part of a busy team responsible for the delivery of Networking and Infrastructure services across a variety of departments, within a fast-paced environment.
The 2nd & some 3rd Line Network and Infrastructure Engineer will be the main contact for high profile individuals in this major site, the role specialises in the configuration and support of the sites Networking and Infrastructure including Switches, Routers, Firewalls, VLANS, CCTV, Windows, Azure, Intune and Defender, etc. It is essential that you have both Networking and Infrastructure skills
Ideally suited to an experienced Network and Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in cutting-edge solutions and support who is an excellent customer facing communicator. This is an opportunity to become a key member of a high-profile IT Team across the UK and Europe.
You MUST have excellent Communication skills & Customer Service.
- Implementation and supporting of complex networks and infrastructure.
- Configuring and maintaining VLANS, Switches, Routers, Firewalls, etc
- Strong Windows, Azure, Intune, Defender, etc
- Integration and optimization of CCTV systems within the network
- Support network and infrastructure projects & system integration.
You must have excellent communication skills and be polite / personable. Attention to detail is a must.
Personal attributes
- Possess 2nd and some 3rd line knowledge of LAN and WAN as well as Windows Infrastructure and support, using it to implement and support solutions.
- Proactively tackle challenges with a hands-on approach, showcasing adaptability and self-motivation
- Exhibit problem-solving skills and tenacity to overcome complex obstacles strategically.
- Hold a full clean driving license for occasional travel and a valid passport for potential travel to European locations.
- Demonstrate very strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for clear technical communication.
- Follow and create precise procedural documentation and reports, aligning documentation practices with strategic goals.
