About Our Client

Our client operates two interconnected businesses that form the core of its operations. Its primary venture is salt mining, extracting hundreds of thousands of tonnes of rock salt annually from its Cheshire mine. Alongside its mining operations, it has developed a unique document storage business. Using the vast underground spaces created by salt extraction, these chambers now house important documents and artefacts from various organisations.

At the heart of both operations is a unique company culture that embodies the core values of collaboration, respect and integrity. Our client values a balance between a warm, supportive atmosphere where colleagues look out for one another, a tradition that spans generations, with many families having worked there throughout its three-century history, and a forward-thinking mindset that embraces new ideas while honouring its heritage. It is always looking for people who want to become part of the team and contribute to the growth of its two businesses.

In essence, our client is more than just a business. It is a vital part of the nation’s infrastructure and heritage. Its salt mining keeps the country moving during wintry weather, while its document storage preserves its history. Together, the people at the heart of these businesses make a significant contribution to the nation, protecting its past and safeguarding both the present and future.
