Field Sales Representative - Oxford/Banbury/Newbury
About The Job We’re looking for a driven Field Sales professional to join Flatpay as we continue expanding across the UK. In this role, you’ll meet SME merchants face-to-face, demonstrate our payment solutions, drive new business acquisition, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for every merchant you sign. What You'll Do Location: Remote (Oxford, Banbury, Newbury) Employment Type: Full Time Salary: £60k-£70k OTE (Commission uncapped) Responsibilities
- Attend on-site meetings with merchants booked by the SDR team; demo Flatpay solutions and close contracts (75% of signings).
- Generate own pipeline from referrals and cold canvas (25% of signings).
- Present tailored solutions that address specific merchant needs to secure deals.
- Deliver and install terminals to newly signed merchants and ensure smooth onboarding.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system.
- Uphold ethical selling standards and champion customer satisfaction post-sale.
- Provide feedback and insights to SDR, marketing, and product teams to strengthen go-to-market execution.
- Highly motivated with proven talent for identifying opportunities and closing sales
- Excellent face-to-face communication, negotiation and objection handling Self-starter, resilient and motivated by commission and results
- Organised and disciplined with territory planning and pipeline forecasting Comfortable working independently while collaborating with SDR and ops teams
- Experience in sales with proven quota attainment (no specific payments industry experience required).
- Experience selling to SME owners is desirable.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle (required).
- Flexibility to travel regionally where needed.
