Role: Graduate Business Development Executive / Manager (Global Markets – US Focus)

Salary: £34,000–£38,000k + bonus + commission – OTE £50k+

The Opportunity
Recruiting on behalf of a leading global payments consultancy
We’re supporting a high-growth, international payments consultancy that works with some of the world’s largest retail and e-commerce brands. Their data-driven insights help global merchants optimise payment performance, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience.
As part of their continued international expansion — particularly across the US market — they’re looking to add two proactive and commercially minded Graduate Business Development Executives / Managers to their Manchester-based team.
This is a research-driven, desk-based commercial role. You’ll focus on identifying and connecting with senior decision-makers in large, global organisations — crafting compelling outreach messages that open the door to new conversations.
The Role
- Research enterprise-level prospects in target sectors (primarily US-based).
 - Identify decision-makers and build targeted prospect lists.
 - Create and send tailored outreach messages via email, LinkedIn, and phone.
 - Develop relevant hooks and value propositions based on each prospect’s business.
 - Log and track all outreach activity in the CRM system.
 - Collaborate with senior commercial leaders to refine targeting and messaging strategies.
 - Analyse campaign performance and share insights to improve effectiveness.
 
This is not a call-centre role — it’s about intelligent, personalised outreach and strategic communication.
About You
You’ll be curious, articulate, and persistent — someone who enjoys researching businesses, spotting opportunities, and crafting messages that get noticed. Degree educated, 2:1 or above.
You’ll bring:
- Some experience in business development, lead generation, or sales support.
 - Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
 - Confidence to engage senior contacts via phone, email, or LinkedIn.
 - Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple prospects.
 - A genuine interest in payments, fintech, or technology-led consulting.
