About Zymix
Zymix is building an AI-powered social platform centered around local communities, real-world events, and intelligent experiences. We're creating the next generation of social products where AI is deeply integrated into how people discover, connect, and interact.
As an early-stage startup, you'll have the opportunity to work on real products that ship to users, collaborate closely with experienced product and engineering teams, and make a meaningful impact from day one.
What You'll Do
- Design intuitive and engaging mobile app experiences for iOS and Android.
- Create user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and interactive prototypes in Figma.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and AI teams to bring ideas from concept to production.
- Contribute to and help evolve our design system.
- Rapidly iterate based on user feedback, product metrics, and business goals.
- Use modern AI tools to prototype, validate, and refine product ideas.
- Participate in product discussions and contribute to UX decisions.
What We're Looking For
Required
- Recently graduated in Product Design, UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field.
- Experience designing mobile apps (iOS and/or Android).
- Experience working on products that have been implemented or shipped—not just concept designs.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking and execution.
- Proficiency in Figma (Auto Layout, Components, Variables, Prototyping).
- Strong understanding of mobile UX and interaction design principles.
- Experience collaborating closely with engineers throughout implementation.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development ("vibe coding") is required. You should be comfortable using AI tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Lovable, Bolt, v0, or similar to rapidly prototype and iterate on ideas.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written). Excellent English communication skills are essential.
- Must be based in London and available to work with the team in person on a regular basis.
Nice to Have
- Experience designing consumer or social products.
- Experience with AI products or conversational interfaces.
- Experience building or maintaining design systems.
- Motion design or illustration skills.
What You'll Get
- Work on products used by real users.
- Collaborate directly with Product, Design, Engineering, and AI teams.
- Own meaningful product features from concept to launch.
- Gain hands-on experience building AI-native consumer products.
- Flexible working environment.
- Outstanding interns will be considered for a full-time Product Designer position
