Proofpoint Certified Assosiate

Position: Proofpoint Certified Contractor
Location: Remote - Anywhere in UK/EU (UK preferred due to business presence and potential onsite requirements)
Contract Type: Outside IR35
Day Rate: £450 per day

Role Overview

We are seeking a Proofpoint Certified contractor to support our security initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience with Proofpoint solutions, hold relevant certifications, and be capable of operating independently in a remote engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage Proofpoint solutions across the business.

• Provide subject matter expertise in email security, threat protection, and data loss prevention (DLP).

• Implement and monitor DLP policies to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure best practices in email security and data protection.

• Act as the main point of contact for Proofpoint-related technical queries and escalations.

Required Skills & Certifications

• Minimum Certification: Proofpoint Threat Protection Administrator

• Preferred Additional Certifications:

  • Proofpoint Essentials Administrator

  • Proofpoint Data Security Administrator

• Strong understanding of:

  • Email threat protection and phishing prevention

  • Data loss prevention (DLP) policies and tools

  • Compliance and data security frameworks

• Hands-on experience managing Proofpoint environments.

Languages

• Required: English (fluent)

• Desirable: French (nice to have), German or Spanish (advantageous but not required)

Additional Information

• Candidates without specific certifications but with strong Proofpoint experience may still be considered. Certification training can be arranged if necessary.

• UK-based candidates preferred, but applicants across the EU will also be considered.
