Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in the ServiceNow platform and enterprise integrations within the Telecom/Satcom domain. This role will lead the design and delivery of scalable, resilient solutions across complex global environments.

You will combine strong technical leadership with the ability to engage stakeholders across business and technology functions, driving architectural excellence in fast-paced and evolving settings.

Key Responsibilities Architecture & Solution Design

  • Define and own end-to-end ServiceNow architecture aligned to telecom/satcom business processes and enterprise standards
  • Design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions across ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, CSM)
  • Lead architecture decisions balancing performance, cost, and long-term sustainability

Enterprise Integrations

  • Architect integrations between ServiceNow and OSS/BSS, ERP, CRM, and network monitoring platforms
  • Design and implement integration patterns (Real Time, event-driven, batch)
  • Ensure high availability, low latency, and reliable data exchange across distributed systems

Telecom/Satcom Domain Alignment

  • Translate network operations, service assurance, and incident workflows into ServiceNow solutions
  • Integrate with telecom and satellite operational systems
  • Align solutions with frameworks such as eTOM, ITIL, and TM Forum standards

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business and technical stakeholders
  • Facilitate workshops, design reviews, and governance forums
  • Collaborate across global, cross-functional teams

Governance & Best Practices

  • Establish architectural standards, integration patterns, and governance frameworks
  • Ensure compliance with UK/EU data protection, security, and regulatory requirements
  • Mentor engineering teams and promote best practices

Leadership & Adaptability

  • Lead through influence in matrixed environments
  • Navigate changing priorities while maintaining architectural integrity
  • Foster collaboration, innovation, and accountability

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 12-18 years of IT experience, including 5+ years in ServiceNow architecture
  • Proven experience in Telecom and/or Satellite Communications
  • Experience working within global, distributed enterprise environments

Technical Expertise

  • Strong ServiceNow platform expertise (ITSM, ITOM, CSM)
  • Integration technologies:
    • REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML
    • IntegrationHub, MID Server
    • Event-driven architectures
  • Experience with OSS/BSS, network monitoring, ERP, CRM systems
  • Familiarity with Middleware (eg MuleSoft, Boomi)
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture
