External Account Manager – Hungerford

We’re looking for an ambitious External Account Manager to join our team in Hungerford. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a broad customer base, grow key relationships, and drive sales performance within a global technology group.

What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors to drive growth.
- Work proactively with key stakeholders across your customer estate.
- Introduce new manufacturers, products, and technologies to support client expansion.
- Profile and qualify new business opportunities using market insights and historical data.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Commercial, Customer Service, and Credit Control.
- Manage pre‐ and post‐sales activities, from quotes to order processing.
- Represent the business at customer visits and support BDM/Sales Manager activities.
What You Bring
- 12 months experience in Account Management or B2B in the IT channel sector.
- Confident telephone manner and strong communication skills.
- Excellent listening, questioning, negotiation, and time‐management abilities.
- Resilience, motivation, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to self‐motivate and thrive in a dynamic, customer-driven environment.
- Must have a UK driving license.
