Senior Vice President M&A – London - Mid‐Market Tech Investment Boutique

I am partnering with a fast‐growing, partner‐led M&A advisory boutique with a strong European footprint and a particular strength in technology and tech‐enabled services. The firm advises entrepreneurs, management teams and financial sponsors on cross‐border mid‐market transactions and is growing its senior bench in London.

The role

As Senior Vice President M&A, you will be a senior deal leader, taking full responsibility for origination and execution of complex buy‐side and sell‐side mandates.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead full M&A processes from pitch to signing and closing, including valuation, structuring, negotiation and process management.
• Act as primary point of contact for founders, CEOs and investors, providing strategic advice on inorganic growth and exits.
• Drive origination within selected sectors, including idea generation, pitch preparation and development of long‐term client relationships.
• Oversee the preparation of high‐quality marketing materials, management presentations, process letters and board documents.
• Coordinate cross‐border deal teams across several European offices.
• Coach and develop junior colleagues, setting the standard for analytical and execution excellence.

Profile

• 8–12 years’ experience in M&A / corporate finance, ideally from a top‐tier investment bank or leading advisory boutique.
• Strong track record in mid‐market transactions; experience in technology, software or tech‐enabled services is highly advantageous.
• Excellent technical skills (valuation, modelling, process design) combined with a commercial, entrepreneurial mindset.
• Confident client‐facing style and proven ability to build trust with founders and management teams.
• Fluent English; additional European language skills are a plus.
