A leading Manufacturer in Cardiff is seeking a Mechatronics / Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer to join their expanding R&D team. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge electro-mechanical products, contributing to the full product life cycle from concept to commercial launch. The role is initially for 12 months with a view to becoming permanent.This position is based at the UHW Campus, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 09.00-17.00. While there is no hybrid working or WFH, the role provides a stable and structured environment, ideal for those who thrive in a collaborative, hands-on setting.The successful candidate will lead and deliver end-to-end product development activities, including concept design, prototyping, design verification, and validation. They will develop and manage electro-mechanical system designs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and supporting regulatory submissions.
