Test Configuration Analyst

I am working with a specialist mortgage lender to appoint a Test Configuration Analyst into their change and technology function. This is a key hire that sits at the heart of their change delivery capability, supporting the configuration, testing, and readiness of systems and solutions as they move into production.

This role would suit someone with experience in testing, QA, configuration, or systems support within financial services or mortgage lending environments, who enjoys working across both business and technology teams in a structured delivery setting.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain test environments, including products, rules, and system parameters
• Support preparation of testing activity by interpreting business and technical requirements
• Assist across system testing, integration testing, UAT, and regression testing cycles
• Manage and maintain accurate and compliant test data
• Identify, investigate, and help resolve configuration and testing issues
• Support defect analysis through replication of issues using correct configurations
• Maintain clear documentation to support traceability and audit requirements
• Support release activity and validate configurations post-deployment
• Contribute to improvements in testing, configuration, and delivery processes
• Support the use and development of automated regression testing approaches where applicable

About you

• Experience in testing, QA, configuration, or systems support roles
• Exposure to mortgage or wider lending environments (or regulated financial services)
• Understanding of testing lifecycles and change delivery
• Comfortable working across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail with a structured approach to work
• Experience using test tools, spreadsheets, and standard office systems
• Exposure to automation or regression testing beneficial but not essential
