Sales Support Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Sales Support Assistant to join our dynamic team in the IoT Product Sales team. This role is key to ensuring the smooth operation of sales processes, supporting the sales team in delivering connected hardware and software solutions for intelligent building control systems, and interacting with our growing customer base.

You will play a central role in sales order processing, managing CRM data, and liaising with internal teams to help drive customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the sales and account management teams.
  • Process sales quotations, purchase orders, and invoices for IoT hardware and software solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer and project information within the CRM system.
  • Coordinate with logistics, technical support, and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products and services.
  • Assist in tracking pipelines and sales forecasts, providing regular reporting to the Product Sales Director and sales team.
  • Handle inbound customer inquiries, ensuring professional and timely responses.
  • Monitor stock availability and liaise with suppliers and warehouse teams to manage lead times.
  • Prepare marketing and sales collateral, presentations, and data sheets when required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes and documentation standards.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a sales support, commercial administration, or customer service role, ideally within a technology, IoT, or building systems environment.
  • Familiarity with BMS (Building Management Systems), HVAC controls, energy monitoring, or IoT-based automation products is highly desirable.
  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), CRM systems and stock control and invoicing systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively with technical and commercial stakeholders.

Education and Experience

  • Ideally 2+ years of experience in an administrative or sales coordination role within a technical or commercial setting.
