Overview:

Our client is a PE-backed services business undertaking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation. They are looking for an experienced BC365 Consultant with a strong data and finance background to support a critical phase of the project.

This role will focus on extracting and migrating data from Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision), ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the implementation, and delivering robust financial reporting within Business Central.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the extraction, cleansing and migration of data from Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) into Business Central.
• Validate and reconcile financial and operational data throughout the migration process.
• Design and build robust financial reports within Business Central to support business and leadership reporting.
• Work closely with Finance, IT and implementation partners to ensure accurate data mapping and transformation.
• Support testing, UAT and go-live activities, resolving any data-related issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, data governance and finance processes.
• Ensure best practice is followed across data migration, reporting and documentation.

Required Experience:

• Proven experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC365) implementations.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision), particularly data extraction and migration.
• Experience building financial reports within Business Central.
• Excellent understanding of finance processes, including General Ledger, AP, AR and management reporting.
• Strong SQL, Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience working on ERP implementation or transformation programmes.
• Ability to engage confidently with finance stakeholders and third-party implementation partners.
