Salary - £80,000 - £100,000 + Package

Are you ready to take charge of a gloabl security landscape? This dynamic role surpasses traditional boundaries, demanding a blend of hands-on expertise, strategic vision, and leadership.

As a Lead Security Architect, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and refining cutting-edge security architectures within IT infrastructure. You will need to developing innovative security strategies and procedures, ensuring their seamless application across all systems and apps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the Security Architecture team in creating robust security solutions.
  • Shape and execute the organization's security strategy and roadmap, identifying and capitalizing on collaboration opportunities.
  • Work closely with technical teams, including AWS and internal engineering, to integrate security protocols seamlessly.
  • Mentor and manage the Security Architecture team, ensuring secure design and operation of systems and applications.
  • Review and approve security designs for new systems and applications.
  • Create, review, and enforce security policies, integrating them into the development lifecycle.
  • Stay ahead of security trends, actively engaging with the community, and adapting security architectures as needed.
  • Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, third-party vendors, and service providers.
  • Drive ongoing enhancement of security processes and controls, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and compliance with organizational goals and industry standards.

Required Experience 

  • Multiple years of proven experience in cybersecurity architecture and design.
  • Prior experience in team or line management.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS or other cloud services and strong understanding of cybersecurity principles.
  • Experience in developing and implementing security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Practical experience with OKTA or similar technologies.
  • Active participation in the wider security community.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Skilled in incident, change, problem, and risk management.
  • Previous software engineering experience, including coding and automation skills. (Advantagous)
