IT Project Manager | Infrastructure & Cloud Projects

York (Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office)

Forsyth Barnes are currently supporting a growing organisation looking to hire an IT Project Manager to join their established project delivery team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a mid-level Project Manager who enjoys delivering hands-on infrastructure and technology projects and wants to play a key role in a large programme of IT transformation over the next 18–24 months.

You will join a collaborative team of Project Managers and work closely with technical specialists to deliver projects across infrastructure, end-user computing, networking, and cloud migration.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing and delivering a range of technology and infrastructure projects, including:

• End-user compute rollouts

• Implementation of Microsoft Intune across the organisation

• Network and telecoms infrastructure upgrades

• Large-scale circuit provisioning programmes

• Migration of on-premise servers into Microsoft Azure

You will not be expected to be a deeply technical PM, but you should be comfortable working closely with engineering teams and understanding the technical landscape.

What We’re Looking For

✔ 2+ years’ experience as an IT Project Manager

✔ Experience delivering infrastructure or technology projects

✔ Exposure to end-user computing or device rollouts

✔ Understanding of network / telecoms projects

✔ Awareness of Azure or cloud migration programmes

✔ Strong stakeholder management and delivery skills
