About the Role

Forsyth Barnes is supporting a fast-growing global technology company in its search for a Senior Director of Product Management to lead internal data platforms, tools, and capabilities. This is a strategic leadership role with company-wide impact, driving innovation, scalability, and responsible AI adoption across the business.

The role will lead a team of 15+ product managers, collaborating closely with engineering, data science, and analytics teams to ensure the company has a modern, secure, and trusted data ecosystem that accelerates innovation and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic vision: define and communicate a company-wide data product strategy aligned with long-term objectives
• Roadmap ownership: deliver a cohesive roadmap across internal data platforms, governance, experimentation, and enablement, focusing on measurable business impact
• Platform scaling: ensure internal data infrastructure meets evolving user needs, increases velocity, and supports AI-driven innovation
• Federated data culture: establish standards, tooling, and guidance enabling teams across the organisation to produce and consume trusted data
• Product execution: partner with engineering, analytics, and data science to prioritise effectively, deliver at pace, and optimise investment for outcomes

About You

• Experienced strategic leader: proven track record managing large product teams (10+ PMs) and delivering outcomes at scale
• Technically fluent: strong understanding of modern data architectures (data mesh, streaming platforms, semantic layers) and credible collaboration with technical teams
• Business-savvy: ability to translate complex technical initiatives into executive priorities and measurable business impact
• Governance and compliance: knowledge of privacy, consent, and compliance requirements, embedding these into platform design
• AI-focused: excited about emerging AI technologies, balancing strategic vision with responsible delivery
