Role: UX/UI Developer
Location: London (Hybrid - 3 days in office)
Salary: Up to £45,000 (dependent on experience)

Overview:
A well-established and award-winning travel company is seeking a passionate UX/UI Developer to help design and build user-friendly, accessible digital experiences. This opportunity is ideal for a creative, user-focused individual who enjoys working across design and development to bring intuitive journeys to life. The role includes contributing to product improvement, evolving design systems, and collaborating across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver new features and digital enhancements
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to clearly communicate ideas
• Support usability testing and user research
• Ensure designs are responsive and meet accessibility guidelines
• Present and document design rationale effectively
• Stay informed on UX trends and front-end technologies to bring fresh ideas

Key Duties:

• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX thinking and polished UI design
• Experience using design tools such as Figma
• Skilled in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Vue, React, NodeJS)
• Some familiarity with TypeScript is a plus
• Experience with CSS compilers (e.g., Sass, LESS)
• Knowledge of tools/libraries like Mocha, Chai, Gulp, Grunt
• Understanding of accessibility and responsive design best practices
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
