As we enter our next phase of growth, focused on AI-driven delivery, data-centric solutions, and outcome-based engagements, we are expanding our team with a Business Development Director to help scale our new-logo engine across EMEA with a big focus on the UK and Ireland.

The EMEA Business Development Director is a senior individual contributor responsible for identifying, pursuing, and winning new clients across EMEA, but with a focus on the UK and Ireland. This is a true hunting role for a seasoned, modern sales professional who thrives on creating new relationships and driving strategic revenue.

You will sell Forte’s full suite of capabilities, custom software development, digital engineering, managed services, and AI & Data offerings, by deeply understanding client needs and positioning Forte as a long-term strategic partner.

We are looking for a market maker who understands that in an AI-first economy, value is derived from outcomes, not just billable headcount.

Key Responsibilities

1. New Logo Acquisition & Revenue Growth

  • Source, pursue, and close new clients across mid-market and enterprise segments.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and the SDR Team to establish a modern and effective lead generation motion for the region.
  • Build and manage a strong, predictable pipeline aligned with Forte’s ICP and priority industries.
  • Own the full sales cycle – from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and close.
  • Lead high-value pursuits and deliver compelling proposals and narratives to VP/CXO-level stakeholders.

2. Deal Strategy & Solution Positioning

  • Lead consultative sales approaches and collaborate with Solution Architects and Delivery to craft winning, differentiated proposals.
  • Shape deals with a focus on Managed Services and outcome-based models.
  • Position Forte as a strategic AI partner to clients.
  • Bring clarity and structure to positioning, solution, pricing and proposal development.

3. Industry Relationships & Market Presence

  • Build and nurture relationships with executive decision-makers, both technology and business.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of AI, cloud engineering and data/analytics trends.
  • Represent Forte at industry events, roundtables, and thought leadership forums.

4. Collaboration & Internal Partnership

  • Partner closely with Solution Architects during active pursuits.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on targeted outbound and industry campaigns.
  • Work with Account Management to ensure seamless client handoff and early success.
  • Provide structured market insights to influence GTM strategy, messaging, and offerings.

5. Operational Discipline

  • Meet personal revenue targets and activity KPIs.
  • Maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene and accuracy in Salesforce.
  • Embrace modern sales tools, automation, and AI to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

What Will Make You Successful

Required Experience

  • 7+ years of business development experience in digital engineering services or technology consulting – ideally in AI, Data and modern Digital Solutions.
  • Experience of crafting and selling complex managed services and solution deals.
  • A proven track record of consistently closing new logos.
  • Experience selling custom software development, engineering services, managed services, and AI/data solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence VP/CXO-level leaders.
  • Experience of modern sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, Sales Navigator, and AI automation).
