Full Stack Developer (SC Cleared)

Location: UK (Hybrid/Remote options depending on project)

Security Clearance: Active SC Clearance (or higher) required

Salary: £45,000 – £75,000 (dependent on experience) +18% bonus

Level: Mid to Senior

We are working with a fast-growing Data-Focused consultancy delivering impactful digital solutions across the public sector. They work on meaningful, long and short-term programmes supporting government and public bodies, with a strong focus on modern engineering practices and real-world outcomes.

Due to continued project demand, we are looking for SC-cleared Full Stack Developers to join.

The Role

You will work as part of multidisciplinary agile teams, building and maintaining secure, scalable applications for public sector clients. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to modern architectures, cloud environments, and complex data-driven systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full stack applications in secure environments
• Contribute across the software development lifecycle, from requirements through to deployment
• Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and other engineers
• Ensure solutions meet public sector security, performance, and accessibility standards
• Support continuous improvement through code reviews and best practice

Required Experience

• Active SC Clearance (or eligibility at minimum)
• Proven full stack development experience within the UK public sector
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong experience with Java or Python
• Front-end experience using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, databases, and version control
• Experience working in agile delivery environments

Desirable

• DevOps or CI/CD exposure
• Experience working in a consultancy or client-facing environment
