The Opportunity
We are looking for software engineers with a strong record of shipping production systems in real-world settings. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work directly with customers to understand operational challenges and build high-impact solutions that bridge product and deployment.
The role is intentionally broad and may include:
- Building and optimising data pipelines
- Developing backend services and APIs
- Creating lightweight UI components where needed
- Supporting on-site integration with customer environments
- Feeding real-world insights back into product teams
The core technology environment currently includes Python, Rust, and Typescript running on Linux-based systems, though the team values pragmatic tool selection over rigid stack adherence.
This is a hybrid position with regular customer engagement.
Expect roughly 30–50% onsite involvement, depending on project phase.
