Civil Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to support the design, planning, and execution of infrastructure and construction projects across the UK. This role involves working on a range of civil engineering works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and in line with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a practical, solution-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop civil engineering solutions for infrastructure and construction projects
• Prepare drawings, specifications, and technical reports
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with design and safety standards
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders
• Support project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation activities
• Ensure compliance with UK regulations, health & safety standards, and environmental guidelines
• Monitor project progress and address technical issues as they arise
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in civil engineering or construction projects
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, design standards, and construction practices
• Familiarity with UK regulations and standards (e.g., Eurocodes, CDM Regulations)
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Working towards or holding professional membership with Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or similar
• Experience in sectors such as infrastructure, highways, drainage, or structural works
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
• Knowledge of sustainability and environmental engineering practices
• Experience working on UK-based construction or infrastructure projects
