Civil Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Civil Engineer to support the design and delivery of infrastructure and construction projects. This role involves working on planning, analysis, and execution of engineering solutions while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and is eager to contribute to high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of civil engineering projects (infrastructure, drainage, structural works, etc.)
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and engineering reports
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design and safety standards
- Support project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to engineering standards, regulations, and environmental guidelines
- Identify and resolve technical issues during project execution
- Maintain project documentation and reporting
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in civil engineering or construction projects
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, design standards, and construction practices
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools
- Good knowledge of site operations and project workflows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Working towards or holding membership with Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or similar professional body
- Experience in sectors such as infrastructure, highways, drainage, or structural engineering
- Familiarity with local regulatory standards and health & safety requirements
- Knowledge of sustainability and environmental engineering practices
- Exposure to project management tools and methodologies
