Cloud Platform Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to support the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure. This role focuses on ensuring platform reliability, scalability, and performance while supporting development and operations teams. The ideal candidate brings hands-on cloud experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a foundational understanding of DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design, deployment, and management of cloud-based platforms
• Monitor cloud infrastructure and ensure system availability and performance
• Assist in provisioning and configuring cloud resources (compute, storage, networking)
• Troubleshoot platform issues and implement solutions to improve reliability
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for deployments and integrations
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and standard operating procedures
• Support automation and scripting for infrastructure management
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform support, or infrastructure roles
• Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform
• Basic understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and security principles
• Experience with Linux/Windows systems administration
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates)
• Exposure to containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools
