Data Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role focuses on transforming raw data into meaningful insights, building interactive dashboards, and delivering actionable reports. The ideal candidate combines analytical thinking with strong visualization and business understanding.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Microsoft Power BI
• Create and optimize data models, DAX calculations, and visualizations
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
• Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reports
• Automate reporting processes and improve dashboard performance
• Document data models, processes, and reporting standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI (dashboards, DAX, data modeling)
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
• Experience with data cleaning, transformation, and visualization techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services
• Familiarity with Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables)
• Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
• Experience with ETL tools and data pipelines
• Understanding of business intelligence and reporting frameworks
