End User Computing (EUC) Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused EUC Engineer to support and optimize end-user computing environments. This role is responsible for managing desktop infrastructure, ensuring seamless user experience, and delivering high-quality IT support across devices and platforms. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise along with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support end-user devices including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
- Provide advanced (L2/L3) technical support for hardware, software, and system-related issues
- Administer and maintain desktop environments, operating systems, and applications
- Manage user accounts, access controls, and policies through directory services
- Support and optimize endpoint management tools and deployment systems
- Troubleshoot complex incidents and ensure timely resolution in line with SLAs
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to enhance system performance and security
- Maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and support procedures
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and security best practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in End User Computing, desktop support, or IT infrastructure roles
- Strong expertise in Windows OS, desktop management, and enterprise IT environments
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager), or similar
- Experience with Active Directory and user access management
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Mandatory Certification (at least one):
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
- CompTIA A+ / Network+
- ITIL Foundation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based endpoint management
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VDI, Citrix, VMware)
- Knowledge of security tools such as endpoint protection and patch management systems
- Exposure to automation or scripting (PowerShell or similar)
- Experience in enterprise or managed services environments
