Network Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain reliable and secure network infrastructure. This role focuses on ensuring optimal network performance, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and supporting the organization’s IT operations. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage complex network environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls)
• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, minimizing downtime
• Configure and manage network devices and services
• Support VPNs, firewalls, and network security implementations
• Perform network upgrades, patches, and system improvements
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to enhance infrastructure
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configurations
• Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 2–4+ years of experience in network engineering or support roles
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs)
• Hands-on experience with routers, switches, and firewall configurations
• Experience with network troubleshooting and performance optimization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certification such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher
• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Wireshark)
• Familiarity with cloud networking (Azure/AWS environments)
• Knowledge of network security practices and tools
• Exposure to scripting or automation (Python, Bash, or similar)
