Platform Support Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and technically curious Platform Support Engineer to join our operations team. This entry-level role focuses on supporting internal and customer-facing platforms, ensuring system stability, and resolving technical issues efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with modern platforms, infrastructure, and support processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor platform performance, alerts, and system health
- Provide first-line technical support for platform-related issues
- Troubleshoot incidents and service disruptions, escalating when necessary
- Assist in deployment, configuration, and maintenance of platform components
- Support user access, permissions, and environment setup
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve bugs and improve system reliability
- Document incidents, solutions, and standard operating procedures
- Ensure adherence to operational, security, and compliance standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical knowledge)
- 0–1 year of experience in IT support, technical support, or platform operations (internships included)
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Linux/Windows)
- Familiarity with web applications, APIs, and basic networking concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer support abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform
- Basic knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus)
- Exposure to scripting (Bash, Python, or similar)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps fundamentals
