Corporate Finance Director - TMT

As a TMT Sector Focused Corporate Finance Director , you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our TMT M&A service line. You’ll deliver high-quality services to a diverse range of clients, including large corporates, privately owned businesses, and private equity funds. Your expertise will guide them through disposals, acquisitions, fundraisings, and management buyouts.

In this leadership position, you will collaborate closely with our new partner leading the TMT sector in M&A, helping to shape and implement our UK and global strategies.

• Build strong relationships with TMT clients and counterparties across Private Equity funds, privately owned businesses, and large corporates.
• Originate and lead deals, taking a key role in executing transactions.
• Prepare and deliver compelling pitches and proposals.
• Drive business development through networking and relationship-building, identifying potential mandates.
• Prepare and review transaction documentation and financial models, including business plans and financial forecasts.
• Project manage transactions, acting as the primary contact for clients and providing essential support and advice.
• Lead and mentor team members to ensure high-quality output while adhering to risk management procedures.
• Demonstrate vision and strategic perspective to grow the TMT M&A business and the wider TMT offering across the firm.

• Proven experience in the UK TMT sector, ideally as an advisor or directly within the sector.
• Global TMT experience is preferred.
• Qualified to ACA or ACCA (or equivalent).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in leading Corporate Finance advisory assignments.
• Strong commitment to business development.
• Established network among TMT-focused intermediaries and potential clients.
• A collaborative team player who fosters a positive team spirit.
• A genuine desire to grow and develop the TMT M&A business.
