Oracle Business Analyst – Finance Focus
12-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC)
£60,000 per annum + benefits
Hybrid working – with travel to Watford
A leading UK non-profit organisation is seeking an Oracle Business Analyst with strong functional expertise in chart of accounts (CoA) and procurement processes to support ongoing post-implementation work within their Oracle Cloud ERP system. This is a hands-on, finance-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys collaborating with stakeholders, improving system usability, and fine-tuning business processes post go-live.
Key Responsibilities
- Map out and refine the chart of accounts in Oracle Cloud ERP to support accurate financial reporting and user adoption.
- Support and enhance Oracle Procurement processes, including system configuration, process mapping, and user guidance.
- Gather and document business requirements from finance and procurement teams, translating them into functional specifications.
- Lead and participate in workshops to engage non-technical users and ensure business needs are captured effectively.
- Support UAT, change impact assessments, and quarterly patch testing activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to manage incidents, enhancements, and Oracle SRs.
- Produce clear documentation, including process flows, training materials, and user guides.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst working with Oracle Cloud ERP, ideally in a post-implementation or continuous improvement environment.
- Strong understanding of Oracle GL and chart of accounts design/mapping.
- Familiarity with Oracle Procurement modules and their integration with finance.
- Confident running workshops, capturing requirements, and communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with UAT and supporting business users through change.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
