Python Developer

Foxley Talent are working with a growing SaaS company that's building a powerful platform to help businesses manage employee shares and incentive plans. They are looking for a driven Senior Python/Django Developer in the UK to join their fully remote team and play a key role in the next phase of product growth.

This is a hands-on role in a small but ambitious company solving real-world problems in legal and financial workflows. The platform is already delivering meaningful value to clients, and theres plenty of room for innovation.

What Youll Be Doing

• Writing backend Python code to build and enhance core product features
• Working across the full development lifecycle; planning, building, testing, and shipping software
• Contributing to the platforms performance, reliability, and scalability
• Collaborating with a distributed team and supporting best practices at all times
• Handling sensitive data with care and contributing to QA efforts
• Share knowledge with peers and contributing to a strong team culture

What Theyre Looking For

• Solid experience developing in P ython/Django
• Comfortable working with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setup
• Background in computer science, or a proven record of delivering quality software
• Curious, proactive, and motivated to write great code and improve as a developer

• Git
• LaTeX
• Cybersecurity best practices
• Financial, legal, or compliance-related tech

Location & Setup

The engineering team is fully remote, with the existing developers based in South Africa. This role is open to candidates based in the UK, or within 2 hours of UK time for strong candidates, especially where cost or experience makes this a good fit.

Compensation

• 50,000 base salary
• The company may go above this for an exceptional candidate.
