A leading provider of high-performance financial technology solutions is seeking a client-facing Senior Project Manager with relevant domain experienced to support immediate project demands while demonstrating strong long-term potential within a growing, client-focused organisation.

The Opportunity

As the Senior Project Manager you will take ownership of complex, front-office technology projects for global financial institutions, ensuring successful delivery from discovery through to deployment, whilst also line managing a small team of Project Managers, coaching and supporting their career development and building the capabilities of a growing project management team.

This role offers significant client exposure, influence with senior stakeholders, and the chance to shape delivery standards across the business in a team management role.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading multi-stream software delivery projects, ensuring scope, timelines and budgets are tightly controlled.
  • Acting as a trusted partner to clients, building strong, collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders across capital markets.
  • Providing clear leadership to internal teams, ensuring alignment across development, operations and client functions.
  • Using data-driven forecasting models to produce accurate delivery timelines and support decision-making.
  • Supporting account growth by identifying opportunities for further engagement.
  • Overseeing governance, reporting, RAID management and delivery standards across your project portfolio.
  • Line managing and developing Project Managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

About You

We are seeking a Project Manager who can step confidently into a senior delivery role and grow with the organisation over the long term. You will bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience delivering complex projects as a Project Manager
  • Experience within capital markets, asset management or hedge funds.
  • Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at senior levels.
  • Experience in line management, coaching and developing project teams.
  • Exposure to account management or commercial engagement.
  • A structured approach to delivery, with the ability to use data to forecast timelines and manage risk.
  • Formal Agile and/or Prince2 accreditation.
