Monitoring and Obersavability Engineer - Grafana

Rate: £500/day

Location: Hybrid

IR35 - Inside

We are looking for a hands-on Grafana Specialist to design dashboards and implement proactive monitoring across multiple data sources. Strong experience with Grafana Alloy is essential.

Key Requirements:

• Build and maintain Grafana dashboards across varied data sources

• Configure Grafana Alloy (including High Availability setups)

• Implement database monitoring (MS SQL) using custom SQL queries

• Configure monitoring via F5 load balancers (targeting active Servers)

• Create and manage checks for:

  • Port listener availability

  • Missing log files

  • Empty log files

  • Log files not updated within a defined threshold (eg 5 minutes)

Experience:

• Strong hands-on Grafana experience (dashboards, alerting, observability)

• Alloy configuration and monitoring expertise

• Experience in enterprise production environments

This role is ideal for someone who can deliver practical, scalable monitoring solutions and work closely with application support and infrastructure teams.
