Our client is looking for a Cyber Security Solutions Consultant who thrives at the intersection of technology and sales. This is a true hybrid role: part trusted technical advisor, part strategic partner, and a key voice in guiding customers from early discovery through to fully deliverable solutions.
You’ll help customers cut through complexity, understand what really matters to their business, and confidently invest in security solutions that are practical, scalable, and future-proof.
What you’ll be doing
Working closely with Sales and Solutions teams, you’ll support customers throughout the full pre-sales lifecycle, including:
- Leading discovery conversations to understand customer challenges, technical requirements, and long-term goals
- Owning solution design and scoping, producing accurate bills of materials, proposals, and scopes of work
- Delivering technical demonstrations and proof-of-concepts that clearly show value and fit
- Managing technical responses to RFPs and RFIs, ensuring compelling and customer-focused submissions
- Partnering with Sales to shape deal strategy, combining technical credibility with commercial awareness
- Keeping up to date with cyber security trends, emerging technologies, and relevant certifications
- Enabling internal teams by sharing knowledge and building confidence across technologies and solutions
- Contributing to wider go-to-market messaging, collaborating with sales and marketing to showcase technical expertise
You’ll play a key role in ensuring that every opportunity closed is technically sound, commercially viable, and fully deliverable.
What we’re looking for
You’ll bring a mix of technical depth and strong communication skills, ideally including:
- Hands-on experience designing and delivering cyber security solutions using vendors such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper, Netskope, or similar
- A consultative approach, able to translate technical complexity into clear business outcomes
- Confidence presenting to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A solid understanding of modern security architectures, including SIEM, SOAR, and managed security services
- Exposure to advanced security domains such as DDoS protection, WAF, IAM, EDR, MDM, and vulnerability management
Continuous learning is a core part of this role, with ongoing training and development to help you stay at the forefront of the industry.
