About the departmentThe Global Social Media team is seeking a platform operations and analyticsspecialist to own the technology, governance, controls and measurementinfrastructure supporting our global social media channels. This is not a content creation or social media community-management role. The position focuses on enterprise publishing platforms, workflow optimisation, data and reporting, vendor management, access governance, compliance controls and operational risk. Working closely with Content, Campaigns, Compliance, Technology, Security and Analytics teams, this role ensures that our social media technology ecosystem operates efficiently, securely and compliantly across global markets.
How you will add valuePlatform Technology & OperationsOwn the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of enterprise social media publishing and governance platforms.
Manage platform configuration, integrations, user access, permissions and controls.
Oversee technology vendors, service performance, platform roadmaps and contract relationships. Design and optimise global publishing, approval and compliance workflows. Establish and maintain taxonomy, tagging, data-quality and reportingstandards.
Partner with Technology and Security teams on platform integrations, access governance and technical risk.
Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate their resolution with internal teams and external vendors.
Analytics, Measurement & Operational OptimisationLead the partnership with analytics teams to develop dashboards, KPIs and measurement frameworks across global social media channels.
Collaborate with analytics and reporting partners to ensure consistent and reliable measurement across platforms, markets and campaigns.
Analyse channel, audience and campaign data to identify trends andoptimisation opportunities.
Translate data into clear insights and recommendations for stakeholders and leadership.
Improve reporting efficiency through automation and artificial intelligence.
Support testing and measurement, while partnering with Content and Campaign teams on implementation.
Monitor platform changes and assess their operational, data and governance implications.
Governance, Controls & Risk ManagementOwn publishing governance, approval workflows and operational controls.
Maintain appropriate records and support regulatory and compliancerequirements.
Manage user access, permissions and periodic access reviews.
Identify and mitigate platform, process, data and vendor risks.
Evaluate new platform capabilities and technology solutions.
Develop operating procedures, documentation and governance standards.
What will help you be successful in this roleExperience, Education & CertificationsManaging enterprise publishing, social media technology, marketingtechnology or digital platform operations. Experience in financial services or regulated industries.
Demonstrable ownership of platform governance, workflow design, user access, controls and vendor relationships.
Developing reporting and measurement frameworks.
Technical SkillsHands on experience with enterprise publishing or social media platforms such as Sprout, Hearsay, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Reddit, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok,ON24 and Brightcove.
Strong dashboard, reporting and data-analysis capabilities.
Knowledge of content tagging, taxonomy, data quality and measurement structures.
Strong artificial intelligence and workflow automation experience.
Understanding of security, compliance, and platform governance.
Managing platform integrations or working with technical teams would be advantageous.
Soft SkillsStrong stakeholder management skills. Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
Analytical and data-driven approach.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
