Human Resources Business Partner (Talent)
Frazer Jones are delighted to be supporting a high‐growth private equity firm investing exclusively in innovative, high‐potential software and technology businesses. Their culture is hands-on, collaborative, and entrepreneurial. They hire people who thrive in ambiguity, embrace complexity, and want to make a real impact from day one.
As an Associate HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting their people agenda across both the firm and our portfolio. While the role is HR generalist in nature, you’ll bring a strong specialism in talent - particularly in managing recruitment processes, optimising funnels, and partnering with hiring managers to ensure we attract and retain exceptional individuals.
This is an opportunity to work across multiple high‐growth tech businesses, influence key people decisions, and help shape the talent strategy of a firm that’s intentionally breaking the mould.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent & Recruitment (Focus Area)
- Partner with hiring managers across the firm to understand requirements, shape role profiles, and align on hiring needs.
- Manage the full recruitment funnel, from intake to offer, ensuring an exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience.
- Lead relationships with external search partners; act as the orchestrator rather than direct sourcer.
- Monitor, analyse, and optimise pipeline data to improve speed, quality, and efficiency of hiring.
- Contribute to employer branding and market positioning to attract top-tier tech and investment talent.
People Partnering
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on day‐to‐day HR matters including performance, development, engagement, and workforce planning.
- Support the implementation of people initiatives across the firm and portfolio businesses.
- Provide insight on market trends, talent availability, and compensation benchmarking.
- Guide managers through ER issues (light-touch, early stage) in partnership with senior HR colleagues.
- Work on operational HR processes such as onboarding, probation reviews, promotions, and offboarding.
Projects & Growth
- Contribute to scalable HR processes as we continue to grow and professionalise our operating model.
- Support People & Talent projects across Diversity & Inclusion, performance frameworks, engagement surveys, and leadership development.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and Portfolio teams to ensure a seamless employee lifecycle.
About You
You’ll thrive here if you are energetic, proactive, and solutions-oriented, with a passion for talent and a curiosity for how businesses grow.
- HR generalist or HRBP experience, ideally in a high-growth, fast-paced environment (technology, consulting, investment, or similar).
- Strong talent acquisition capability - especially stakeholder management, funnel oversight, and partnering (rather than direct sourcing).
- Commercially minded with the ability to balance speed, quality, and risk.
- Exceptional communication skills and presence; able to influence across seniority levels.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and excited by change, pace, and entrepreneurial environments.
- Data-informed with the ability to spot trends and recommend improvements.
