Business Analyst

A payments technology group is seeking a Business Analyst to support a major data transformation initiative within its Commercial Transformation team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on mapping complex data journeys, improving data governance, and enabling better decision-making through streamlined processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Map high-level ‘As Is’ processes, identifying key subprocesses, stakeholders, and areas of risk or inefficiency
• Document data flows across systems, including dependencies and downstream impacts
• Analyse and design improved ‘To Be’ data models and processes
• Support the development of data governance frameworks and tools
• Prepare materials to support executive-level discussions and decision-making

Key Requirements

• Strong communication and facilitation skills
• Proven experience in mapping ‘As Is’ and ‘To Be’ processes
• Proficiency with process mapping tools (Lucid preferred)
• Analytical mindset with a passion for simplifying complexity
• Technical proficiency and familiarity with CRM, ERP, and Service Management systems
• Desirable: experience or qualifications in Business Process Redesign or Six Sigma

• Duration: 6-month contract (with potential to extend)
• Day rate: £400 - £500 Ltd / £250 - £350 PAYE
• Location: Remote-first with occasional in-person meetings (London-based)
